| He lay there in dreamless sleep thin tendril hold on life to keep a loveless life an empty void apart for the victim with whom he toyed and so he stirs as sun abates his eyes open, yet still he waits 'til darkness settles all around In darkness, he cannot be found. He rises up with passion burning stretches lithely, his body yearning to fill the void that hunger left he slips into shadows, with movement deft. He scours the land, a victim to seek someone alone, healthy, yet weak. She will fill his desire and nourish his need her lifes blood on which he will feed And after hunger he does abate she will join him and together wait for darkness to fall the shallow night. Forever more, she'll share his plight |
