| What sheer delight On a moonlit night When the fairy tree glows Why? no-one knows They come from far away to the fairy tree to play They put on wings and their Sunday best to look like fairies they like to be dressed They climb the tree Play hide go see And frolic in the night and the gold tree light No one knows that they're not in bed and playing at the tree instead! But danger lurks in those beams of gold if they'd listened to the stories told, of imps and sprytes and other fae come out on moonlit nights to play These golden sprytes in the gold beams dance The imps and elves in the shadows prance looking for mischeif to spell and weave and cast their spells before you leave. Their Golden Queen needs children new the fairy folk are but a few So if go to the fairy tree you must Beware of fae folk sprinkle dust and don't stay long or you will be one of the fae folk , don't you see!!!
