Fairies
I wrote this for my grandchildren, so that they can still keep the faerie spirit alive
At the bottom of my garden beyond the wooden gate There's a little grove of flowers that's where you should wait If you sit there very quiet you just might get a chance to see all the faeries as they come out to dance They will flit among the blossoms and sip of honeyed dew and if you're really still they may settled upon you As they glitter in the sunlight and sparkle in the sun they will stay there with you until their dance is done But you must be very quiet for if a sound you speak they will disappear in a twinkle you'll not get another peek.
