Life Within' a dream She Looks around a magical land that no one else is brave enough to see, A magical land with magical keys, the magical keys are to guide her on her way On her way she learns she has to pay Not just in money but in Emotions and feelings People gamble with her life, she doesn�t approve of their dealings They throw pieces of her soul up on the table for their mere amusement, she cant take their abusment. She looks back around and the magical land fell apart she was so saddened by it, she broke her own heart She felt herself dying in an unpleasant way and now she realizes what she had to pay Her heart, Her soul and her dying beam She never woke up from that terrible dream She looks down at the dream, she was once the star And realizes, it wasn�t a dream but how her life and others' are She's no longer living, she's "up in the sky" Now she wishes she got help when the chance came by. �Cassandra Cates, 2002. |
