Squiggly FAQ

#1- What in the name of sweet Gorillaz is Squiggle Art!?
Well, the answer is quite simple. Squiggle Art is a place for archiving your art and fiction (or fanart and fanfiction, whatever it may be) so others can see it, and a place for viewing the art and writing of others.

#2- How do I join Squiggle Art?
Well, there's a rather obvious link reading 'join Squiggle Art' on the main page. You can follow the instructions given on the page the link takes you to. If you need any further assistance, contact Murdoc Niccals.

#3- Why 'squiggle'?
Because it's funny.

#4- Why should I join your stupid website, anyway? It's a load of rubbish!
Because I said so. And because if you have any appreciation for art or literature of any kind, you'll probably have fun here.

#5- Can I help with the site?
My God, thank you. If you'd like, you can send an application to the Squiggle Art's address, which is located on the main page. Tell us why you're qualified.

#6- I don't like some of the content I've seen on Squiggle Art. What can I do about it? Is there any way to report it?
No. At this point, all art/writing/flash/everything else is put on the site individually by our team of 'professional' moderators. So chances are, if it's on here, we've seen it and okayed it. There are certain restrictions as to what belongs here, but other than that, I'm afraid you'll just have to deal with it.

#7- I don't want to be a mod, but I'd like to help out. What can I do?
Well, for starters you could submit some of your work. That's always nice. And if you're feeling really ambitious, you can donate some money to help Squiggle Art get its own domain name and such. Email us at the site's email address (which is on the front page) if you'd like some more information about that.

#8- Are there an restrictions as to what's allowed on the site?
Yes, there are some. Submit whatever you'd like, but if there is mature content, be sure to include a warning. And we have strong restrictions about submitting any content that includes anything with racism or anything derogatory about any group of individuals such as homosexuals, Catholics, etc. DO NOT submit anything that sends a negative message about any group or race (I'll make an exception in one case: you can make fun of Americans).

#9- Are submissions including same-sex couples allowed?
YES. We love the slash here.

#10- But what if I have a problem with same-sex couples?
Then don't look at stuff here that includes them, and stop being such a whiner.

#11- How old do I have to be to join SA?
Chances are, if you can sit upright and function well enough to use a computer, you're old enough to join. There is no age limit.

#12- I like something I've seen here. How do I contact the artist/author?
If the creator of the work wants you to be able to contact them, their email address will be included with the picture information.

#13- Who created SA?
SA was created by Danie, AKA Moonchild10. She can also be found here, here, and here, among other places. Danie enjoys posting links a little too much...

#14- Want to be friends?
Yes.

#15- What is wrong with you?
Everything!

#16- I need a beta reader! Where can I find one?
Send us an email about it, and we'll see what we can do. If the story is original fiction, Teen Titans, Gorillaz, or based on anything by Jhonen Vasquez, I'm willing to beta read for you myself. Either way, we'll find you somebody who's willing.
