Fear the Reaper. Fear the Reaper originated from ashes of three members that were disenchanted with the way local music was being played. Each member comes from different musical backgrounds and influences.

Hailing from Marrero, Fear the Reaper was the brainchild of War, Pestilence, and Death. War (guitars) had been playing for a couple of years and was in the process of creating a band. Death (bass) also was in the process of creating a band. When Death returned back to Marrero, he was amazed that War still wanted to form a band. In the meantime, Pestilence (drums) a former marching corps drummer and songwriter was also looking to form a band and had written more than 7 complete songs and lyrics. A piece of the puzzle was still missing, a vocalist was needed. Famine (vocals) was a young and promising singer. His singing style is unique because of his versatile training.
