Welcome to the FEA Homepage!

This site is a continuing work in progress and will continue to evolve in order to better serve the law enforcement community. So please forgive the mess while the website is still under construction.

About Us:

F.E.A. is an association created to assist personnel who wish to further their knowledge in the area of friction ridge skin comparison. The association intent is to provide a conduit for communication and education in the science of friction skin identification using the premise that friction skin is both unique and permanent.

Additionally F.E.A. desires to provide a certification process to assist examiners in utilizing the scientific methodology of ACE-V for individualization.

F.E.A. Was created in Quantico Va. January 28th 2004 and as of that 1st meeting consists of twenty two examiners from twenty law enforcement agencies from fifteen states.

Congratulations to Dr Dave Kakkuri on his new position as the Employee Relations Manger at Florida Gulf Coast University in Ft. Myers. We wish him all the best in his new position. Dr. Kakkuri will be staying on with FEA as our new educational consultant.

Activated some of the links and set up the initial messageboard. Also working on cascading menu options. Estimated time of completion is sometime around Thursday 02/19/2004.
