| Anne had just visited the Hoodoos or rock columns of Bryce canyon. The Hoodoos are typically american. This and "America The Beautiful" song provided the basic elements for the tapestry. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| As the work evolved, the political climate lead to the addition of mixed media overlay including Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. |

| The poem (embroidered by hand by the author) reads on top: Stranger, don't walk away so fast Look, - at the transparent summer day Hear, - the blue quiet of the shadow, Go America Go, - ever so strong. At the bottom: You know, - I have seen you, Stranger, work hard I have seen America, - work hard. And Especially, - on the fourth month, - I have seen the daffodils come back every year. |
