| Zeta Tau Alpha's national philanthropy is breast cancer awareness and research. In 1992, ZTA adopted the Komen Foundation as the national philanthropy. At the 1996 International Convention, the Fraternity voted to increase ZTA's support of breast cancer aweareness by backing all organizations committed to breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment. |
| Each year, members distribute one million waterproof showercards which identify how to perform breast self-examinations. |

| In addition to fundraising throughout the year, the Iota Iota chapter participates in Style for the Cure, as well as Race for the Cure. |
