| A Peculiar Conversation
I was taking a stroll, through distorted images, when I noticed something irregular at the boundaries of my vision. A tree with no trunk But the branches still there And men hanging from the branches Eyes still wide open Staring at the missing trunk. You have come to judge the tree? -I heard. -I am the judge of nothing I replied, -but answer me this -How can you hang men from branches, when there is no trunk?. The reply -All trunks are illusions, merely a trick. If you seek foundation, you will not find it here. Men can be hanged only on branches. The trunk is in the way. Simply a source of confusion. Ask the beasts for the truth. I understood immediately The lack of foundation and the perverse truth. For men are hanged not by foundations but by deviations, that always serve the eternally blind. -You are expecting a judge?- I asked The reply-There is no judge, only judges. Fivos R Drymiotis |
