the cruelty of finiteness
and the vision of the eternal,
the human mind stares to the endless
unable to comprehend
the wisdom
crawling inside it,
cataloging the absurd.
As time evolves,
the human mind approaches infinity
but infinity is always the same distance
away. Cruel and unapproachable,
she taunts it and mocks it,
a murderer�s farewell
to a dying victim.
The human mind
analytic, logical and continuous,
fails to understand the
fallacy of infinity,
irrational and perverse
tempting the cosmos
to reach her.
The efforts of the human mind,
futile but persistent,
limited by time
and crazy postulates
cannot see that logic will
never touch infinity,
the avaricious monster
feeding on human minds.
