Advocatus Diaboli

Where does the responsibility of the human lie? Towards society? Towards the human? Towards humanity? How do we define the importance of the human? Through actions? Through words? Through accomplishments? What makes the life of the human valuable other than the notion of life in itself-which is above all a human description of a natural process? How do we define a natural process? Through our perception? Is ultimate reality the logical conclusion of our perception or an undefined notion resting in the multidimensionality of cognition, imagination and illusion?
How do we define an action? Is an action defined by the ultimate effect or is it defined by the underlying intentions?
How is evil defined? Is the definition based solely on a collective agreement or is there something more substantial? How is goodness defined? Can goodness co-exist with hypocrisy without conflict of interest? Should goodness be intimately tied to a God? Is it possible for goodness to have a natural scale or it simply exists or does not exist?
What is the difference between good and evil other than societal perception?
What is a reaction? Why is it different than instinct and how can we be sure that instinct does not contain thought?
Does anything finite carry any value? What is value? Is it a global concept or a local definition?
Is everything infinite a God? Is there anything infinite? If there were, how would we know since we are finite by definition? Do we simply define infinity as multiple finites and if this is true is infinity really infinity? Can we assign scales to infinity or is the concept absurd ab initio? Can we experience something that is infinite? If we cannot why should it exist? How can it exist since our boundaries are defined by perception?
Is our interaction logical or forced? Are laws simply a recipe of human interaction or do they carry a higher value? Are laws needed in order to achieve societal stability and harmony? If the response is positive doesn't that places us below other animals that have harmonious societies in the absence of laws? If negative, why do we have them?
If it is wrong to kill why do we have wars? Is wrong and right relative? Are they concepts or physical quantities to which we assign monetary value? Could we exchange a wrong for a right and reverse the effect? If it is wrong to kill why do we execute? If it is right to execute then why is it wrong to kill? Is state sanctioned murder good?
What is the definition of "to believe"?
What is civilization? Is it finite or infinite? If it is finite why does it have any value?
Why should I save your child from a burning building and not my dog?
What is potential? Are its effects finite or infinite?
What is a leader?  If leaders exist, are all humans equal? If they are, then are leaders sub-human or supra human? Are we more likely to accept something that is less than equal or something that is more than equal?
Would you save a leader from a burning building or your child? If you do not choose the leader then doesn't that make the leader sub-human? If indeed the leader was supra human that can achieve infinite good would not that have been the right choice? What if the leader was your child? If you save the leader in this case, is not the leader supra human? If both scenarios are possible, is not a leader sub- and supra- human simultaneously but only supra in your eyes and sub to everyone else's?
Who is more valuable? A human that does not produce or an animal that produces?
Why is it not correct to lie when human history is based on lies?
