What is fiberglass?



Fiberglass is a man-made material created from thin, tiny strands of glass.� Some companies such as a large industry in Hong Kong, use a raw material called system glass to form their fiberglass.� The system glass is composed of Na2O-SiO2-ZrO2-TiO2.� The shape and size of the glass fibers vary,       (www.betterinsulation.com/Timeline.htm)
                        some are microscopic
while others can easily be seen with the naked eye.�
