Graduation day for Patawaran and Monsanto

Alabang, Muntinlupa City, June 27, 2002: President Gladdy Patawaran and VP PRO Marissa Monsanto expect to achieve their Competent Toastmasters Norm (CTM) tomorrow for the 22nd regular meeting of FDIP Toastmasters Club to be held in executive room (305) at the Fluor Daniel office in Alabang. They will deliver their last speech completing the ten basic speeches as required by International Toastmasters manual, "Communication and Leadership Program". They are the 3rd and 4th would be CTMs for the club respectively.

The club will be assured of meriting itself as a "Distinguished Toastmasters Club". Earlier, CTM Maria X Magnaye and CTM Tony Soria graduated last March and May 2002 hitting the target of four CTMs for the TM year 2001-2002.

Expected to attend and witness the graduation are Division H Governor ATM Alma Silla, ATM Gina Mapua, Area 73 Governor Loi Espino and ATM Rene Aquino.

The battle for the Best Speakers

There are four prepared speakers for tomorrow. Annaliza Dela Cruz will speech on her first Icebreaker. Secretary Rico Abibas works with words on speech no.6. VP PRO Marissa Monsanto and President Gladdy Patawaran will inspire the audience on their speech no.10. For complete listing of the program, click here.

Rico, Marissa and Gladdy are certified "Speakers of the Day". (see the speech bar schedule). Who will win for tomorrow's "Speakership"? Is it Rico who will attempt for five straight win? Or Marissa for second win? Or Gladdy for a third win? You can never be sure, Annaliza will try for the first win! So, fellow Toastmasters (whether you are an active, inactive member, guests -- you are most welcome), are you going to miss this one big fight? Cancel your earlier appointments! Come, participate and see,...the excitement, funs of toastmasters.
