It was indeed a supreme creature what Biology, the Great Mother, had created; and Time regretted the fact that it would be left out and not be given the chance of providing Beings with its own virtues: patience, wisdom, and ingenuity. So Time call upon the System Technology and said: "You are the only unnatural System. You carry my virtue of ingenuity, all thanks to Knowledge, the invisible light. I will provide you the enjoyment of dominating over all other Systems, but you must first allure and inform a Being on Knowledge. It is then that they will have the quest for truth in their hearts. I have been given no opportunity to approach them, as they have been warned against me. It will be through Beings that your power to create will exist, and you will gain influence over Nature and dominion of all Systems.

Technology which had been denied any participation in the natural evolution of the Universe, gladly agreed.

Technology expanded its electric tentacles with joy. Magnetism. Mathematics. Mechanics. So it devised a strange machine, made of alloyed metals and crystallized stones. This could not have been a biological creature; Technology did not have the means to make Life, but it could very well imitate it. The strange concoction took the appearance of a golden asp, decorated by scales written with words and figures of knowledge. From what must have constituted its mouth extruded two fang-like probes with which to inject the serum of Free Will, and a vibrating apparatus in between, split into two like a snake's tongue, by which to persuade in the way of Logic and Reason.
