03.22.2007An Illuminati CommentIn human history there are only two possible reasons that disparate historical events occur in conjunction on any specific date. Those two reasons are Conspiracy or Coincidence. Everyone knows coincidence doesn't exist. Take these two events of religious significance. 1638 - Religious dissident Anne Hutchinson expelled from Mass Bay
Colony"
and 1882 - Edmunds Act adopted by US to suppress polygamy in the
territories
Those two events seem to have nothing in common. By looking a little closer it becomes obvious that both were accused of sins of excess, but the real sins were crimes of jealousy and cowardice. Anne Hutchinson, being an educated woman wanting to take an equal place in her faith, was found guilty of thinking too much by those religiously endowed Puritan men. Mormon men, in marrying too many women, were found guilty of getting to much, by the politically endowed puritanical congressmen. In reality, religious men were jealous and afraid of the activity in a woman's brain. The democratically elected congressmen were jealous and afraid of the activity in women's vaginas. Conspiracy or coincidence? You be the judge. And has anything really changed? |
03.03.2007Waliking the Blad Road published this day on AnotherRealm. I submitted the story "Cain's Get to "Strange Horizons." Cain's Get is a post Authurian tale set in an England being gobbled up by Saxons with the remnant of Grendal's folk living in the Swamps and wastelands. |

12.21.2006"Walking the Blade Road," accepted by Another Realm in November" of 2006, will be released in March of 2007. Today I wrote a short story named "Distilled Memories." This fantasy story is about a young man who, upon realising that he never really knew his father, takes the risk of distilling his fathers memories so he can learn to know his father. |
What I Do?
A technical writer with 11 years of experience, I am currently taking a hiatus from work and finishing my English degree and getting a teaching credential with the intention of teaching English.
Publishing fiction is my hobby and my dream career. I have published three short stories and one article on creating terrain for FASA's MechForce Quarterly.

- Family Secrets, a novel of murder and and suspense in a small Oklahoma town.
- P.T.S.D., a short story about a man haunted by his memories of war and suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Awaiting critique at Critics Circle.
