What is Evolution?
Evolution is the process by which modern organisms have descended from ancient organisms. The biological manner of this would be any change in the relative frequencies of alleles in the gene pool of the population.
Who is the founder of Evolution?
The founder of evolution is Charles Robert Darwin.

HERE ARE SOME SITES TO VISIT:

University of California This site has a vast amount of information concerning the lifes' work of those who shaped the "History of Evolutionary Thought."

Synthetic Evolution This page, contains information on 20th century theories, and concepts concerning how we view evolution.

Cosmic Ancestery This site introduces us to different views than the traditional spiritual or evolutionary ideas. It deals with cosmic ancestry, or life coming from space, although it does declare the details are speculation. It is an interesting site to visit!

The Origin of Modern Humans This site characterises certain stages of man, through evolution. These include: Neanderthal remains, and other fossil evidence. Gathered from various part of the world.

Neanderthals and Humans This is a great site for information on prehistoric peoples, as well as a terrific resource when looking for a multitude of links to museum sites.

Darwinist Evolution This site is very useful when you're searching for specific terms, to aid you in your understanding of evolution, and biology in general. These include, micro/macro evolution, genetic drift, etc... As well as information on Darwin's theories.

Evolution of Modern Humans This site contains many graphics and summaries of early human development as well as links to other helpful sites, and a glossary of terms.

Human Prehistory: An Exhibition Contains pictures and information on Thomas Huxley, a supporter of Darwin. In addition to this, it walks you through the stages of development of man.

Biology and Evolutionary Theory A site which contains multiple compilations of essays discussing evolution and related topics. The site is through and includes a photo gallery, and information on geology.

Darwin DNA/After DarwinThis website debates the crediability of Darwin's theories. It allows you to be introduced to a different perspective, concerning evolution.

Evolution vs. Creation Science This site compares and contrasts evolution vs. creation. It includes interesting facts supporting and questioning both sides, and is quite interesting.

Evolution of Man This site is a virtual tour of a museum, complete with short passages to describe the evolution of man.
