Greetings from 2006-2007 Board of Directors!

 

It’s truly our honor to serve the association, most of us have been on the Board for several years, and really enjoyed our rolls in serving and improving our beloved organization.

 

Please allow us to introduce our top officers:

 

Chairperson: Monica Xu graduated from Journalism Department, is a senior reporter for World Journal. She served as Vice Chair and board member for the past 5 year, has been covering most events of FDAANC for World Journal since 1998, and was MC for Night of Shanghai for two years.

 

Chairperson: Cheng Peng graduated from Physics Department, is an engineering manager for Intel. He was one of the founders of our association, a chairperson from 1999 to 2000, and a board member since 1997.

 

Vice Chair person: Angie Yuan graduated from Foreign Language Department, is Business Development Manager for InfoUSA, and the Marketing Chair for CSPA. She has been serving the association since 2003, she was one of the MCs for Night of Shanghai in the past two years.

 

The new board pledged to carry on association’s excellent tradition through coordinating BBQ, Night of Shanghai, our 3 signature tournaments of Oriental Pearl Cup Table Tennis, Yulan Cup Volleyball, Pujiang Cup Tag of War, and sponsoring forums and seminars meet the interests of alumni.

 

The new board needs your support and help. Please feel free to contact us with your ideas, your needs, your interests and whatever you think the board can and should do. We’d like to express our sincere appreciation here in advance.

 

Please also allow us to invite you all to express our sincere appreciation to our former Chair, Jason Ding for his extraordinary leadership and contribution. He has demonstrated fully that how an alumnus or alumna could serve our alumni community with heart.
