This census card shows my grandfather (my mother, Shirley Jean Cummins' father) Francis, age 5, in the household of John W.
Cummins. We know his mother, John's daughter, died shortly after giving birth. we do
not know what happened to the father Frederick Chidester Connett other that family
tradition states he died about 1897.
