Trees started out as an academy player at Man United, having failed to make the grade he has played at various league and non league clubs. Including Bristol Rovers, Stalybridge Celtic and his hometown club Droylsden. Hes a big United fan and couldn't turn down playing for the cause of FC United. Trees left the club in August 2005 after failing to break into Marginson's first team plans.
