Young Right Back with alot of potential, signed from Mossley. Matty Taylor was arguably the best player from the 2006/07 Double winning season. His comitment on the pitch was a sight to behold, cummalating in a heroic performance against Quorn in the FA Vase where he played on despite obviously being Injured. Matty left FC to sign for New Mills in January 2008 due to personal resons, he we will be missed at United and remembered with fond memories.
