Position Defender
Signed up for FC United in December 2005 after quitting as Player/Manager of Maine Road where he made 500 apperances. Although a defender, Chris was also a prolific goalscorer whilst at the club. Simms called time on his FC career in the summer of 2006 and took on the job of managing the teams under 18's side in their fledling season. Simms had an impressive if brief time playing for FC with 7 starts, 7sub apps plus he scored 3 important goals.
