Signed in May 2006 after a fantastic season with Skelmersdale scoring 47 goals. A prolific marksman with a league record of 214 goals in 301 games. Stuart was insparational in FC's promotion from North West Counties Division 2, notching up an amazing 45 goals. A superb target man who formed a great partnership with Patterson during that season. Injury plagued his last season at FC and he never manged to recapture that fantastic form from his first season. Rudd left FC in June 2008 following a lucrative offer from Bradford Park Avenue just as his strike partner Rory Patterson has done also. Stuart leaves FC having scored 54 goals for the club over 2 seasons.
