Goalkeeper who spent three seasons with Rochdale where he gained Football League experience. Had spells at Scarborough and Chester City in the 2000/01 season before joining Bangor City in August 2001. Selected for the League of Wales 'Team of The Season' in May 2002. Moved back to England with Prescot Cables in August 2004 and then joined Stalybridge Celtic in November of that year. Rejoined Bangor in January 2005. Priestley left the club in September 2005 after playing a few games for United, but could'nt get the starting role off Barrie George. Phil returned to FC as a coach and as back up for Sam Ashton in September 2007. Phil left to sign for Radcliffe in December 2007 following his second stint at the club.
