| Tough Loss for FCS DAVIS, Calif., June 6 (AP) FC Sudwerk's losing streak stretched to five Sunday, when it fell 9-2 to Davis Football Club. The red-and-black's defense appeared in disarray without sweeper Donn Cox, sidelined by an ankle injury, but Sudwerk fought hard to make a game of it, closing to within 4-2 early in the second half. Sudwerk received its first goal from J.B. Rudell, who took the rebound off a free kick and drove it home. Early in the second half, Craig Dandurand scored the second for the red-and-black on a remarkable 30-yard shot from the left flank that curved into the upper right hand side of the net. But DFC broke open the game using its speed and flooding Sudwerk's defense with attackers. Sudwerk's next game is 2 p.m. Sunday against Bozons FC. ## |
