| Sudwerk Routs Humboldt Grown DAVIS, Calif., June 4 (Reuters) -- FC Sudwerk unveiled its new red jerseys on Sunday and then routed longtime rivals Humboldt Grown 7-0. Imer led the red-and-black with a hat trick and Adam Bauer scored two goals, as Sudwerk took control early and cruised to a 4-0 halftime advantage. Both teams wilted in the late afternoon heat, but Sudwerk continued to dominate until the final whistle and goalie Craig Dandurand recorded his first clean sheet of the season. The red-and-black's other two goals came from J.B. Rudell and James Engel. Both teams were short on personnel, playing the match nine against nine. Sudwerk's next match is 4 p.m. Sunday against Pulsars. ## |
