| FCS Caps Magical Winter DAVIS, Calif., March 14 (Reuters) -- FC Sudwerk's indoor teams finished off spectacular winter seasons Sunday with two more victories. The Black team dominated Humblodt Grown B 9-4 while Red rallied from a halftime deficit to down Oldenfowl 9-8. Black ended with a 6-4 record while Red went a remarkable 8-1-1. "What a terrific season," said Ramal Werdna, the president and CEO of FC Sudwerk. "I'm very impressed with how the indoor teams gelled. Now we have a solid foundation for our return to outdoor play." The start of the spring season will be set at a Thursday meeting but is not expected to take place before April 4. FC Sudwerk Red and Black tallied a combined record of 12-3-1, when factoring out the season's two intra-squad games. The mark represents the best ever achieved by the three-year-old club in its 10 seasons. ## |
