Red Rocks, Black Stumbles

DAVIS, Calif., Feb. 1 (Reuters) -- FC Sudwerk Red continued its unbeaten streak on Sunday, while sister club Black dropped its second game of the season.

Led by Adam Bauer's superb scoring outburst, Red skated to a 10-4 victory over the formidable Davis Football Club. Red is off to a 4-0 start and has had only one scare this season, when it eked out a one-goal win over Black in week No. 2.

Meanwhile, FCS Black struggled to get on track against a spirited Short Grass side that played without substitutes. At the break, the clubs were even at 6 apiece. In the second half, Short Grass rallied from a 9-6 deficit to come out on top 12-10.

Next Sunday's games feature Red against Humboldt Grown A at 1 p.m. and Black vs. Davis Football Club at 4 p.m. ##
