Purple Haze Coulds FCS

DAVIS, Calif., Oct. 4 (Reuters) -- FC Sudwerk gave up three first-half goals Tuesday night on its way to a 4-2 defeat to Purple Haze.

The blue-clad, Jimmy Hendricks-loving footballers used their speed to dominate the red-and-black. But despite being down 3-0, Sudwerk rallied with goals by Adam Bauer and Kevin Gray before Purple Haze got an insurance goal late in the game to seal the victory.

The loss dropped FC Sudwerk's record to 1-3-1 on the fall season. The red-and-black's next match is 7 p.m. Wed., Oct. 12 against Arsenal.##
