| Indoor Off To Good Start DAVIS, Calif., Jan. 11 (Reuters) -- FC Sudwerk's two indoor squards rolled to impressive victories on the first day of the new season Sunday. Red topped Humbold Grown B 11-2 while Black followed with a 10-3 defeat of Oldenfowl. "There's always an adjustment to be made to the indoor setting, and our players handled it well," said Ramal Werdna, FC Sudwerk's president and CEO. "I look forward to Red and Black building on that success." J.B. Rudell led the scoring, pummeling the goal in both games, as he performed double duty by playing for both squads. Meanwhile, the Sudwerk defense proved tough and goalkeepers Andrew LaMar, Adam Bauer and Joe Cardoza were stingy. The second week of the season features an intra-club grudge match, with Red squaring off against Black at 1 p.m. Sunday. ## |
