Veronica Fuller is a native of Franklin County.  She graduated from Louisburg High School and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from North Carolina Central University.  She has been a nurse for 26 years, with experience in emergency room, medical-surgical, operating room and public health nursing.  She also taught Health Occupations at FHS and BHS.  She  became Nationally Certified in school nursing in 2001 and completed the requirements for recertification in 2006.  She has been employed as a school nurse with Franklin County Schools since 2004.  She lives in Franklinton with her husband and 2 children.

Joyce Greene-McLeod graduated from Louisburg High School and received her Bachelor of  Science in Nursing from North Carolina A&T.  She is retired from the U.S. Army Nurse Corps with over 20 years of service.  She has been a registered nurse for over 27 years, working in cardiac stepdown, surgical intensive care, operating room, and public health where she primarily focused on infection control and communicable disease.  She was hired as a school nurse for Franklin County Schools in 2005.  Joyce is currently working towards National Certification in School Nursing.

Kathy Jones is a native of Franklin County.  She graduated from Louisburg High School and received her Bachelor of  Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She has been a registered nurse for 24 years working in cardiac care stepdown, home health and public health where she primarily focused on child health and OB.  She was hired as a nurse for Franklin County Schools in 2004.  Kathy earned National Certification in School Nursing in 2005.

Michel Moody received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia. He has been a registered nurse for 19 years.  Michel's previous experience includes Duke Life Flight, intensive care, and PACU.  He was hired as a school nurse for Franklin County Schools in 1999.  He earned National Certification in School Nursing in 2000 and successfully completed recertification in 2005. In addition to working with students as a school nurse, he also coaches boy's tennis and assists with girl's tennis at LHS.

Diana Perry graduated from Youngsville High School.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Duke University.  She has been a registered nurse for 27 years with experience in cardiac care and medical/ surgical/ oncology.  She was hired as a school nurse for Franklin County Schools in 1996.  Diana earned National Certification in School Nursing in 1997 and successfully completed recertification in 2002.  She has been actively involved in the School Nurse Association of North Carolina, holding several positions on the board including Treasurer for the Raleigh Region, Continuing Education Chair at the state level, and President at the state level.  Diana is the nurse representive on the School Health Advisory Committee, McKinney Vento Advisory Committee, and the Mental Health Steering Committee.

Lisa Pursell-Morris graduated from Franklinton High School.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University.  She has been a registered nurse for 8 years with experience in intensive care and urgent care.  She was hired as a school nurse for Franklin County Schools in 1999.  Lisa earned National Certification in School Nursing in 2001 and successfully completed recertification in 2006.  She has been actively involved in the School Nurse Association of North Carolina, serving as Nominations Chair in the Raleigh Region and is currently the Membership Chair at the state level.  Lisa is also the coordinator for the Franklin County Schools First Responder Program and is the liaison to the Community Advisory  Committee.

Rhonda Shearon earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University.  She has been a registered nurse for 21 years with experience in neurology, home health and OR.  She was hired as a school nurse for Franklin County Schools in 2001. She earned National Certification in School Nursing in 2001.  Rhonda also serves as the Bloodborne Pathogens Coordinator for Franklin County Schools and is the liaison to the Frankly Healthy Organization.
