| As it is with college planning, it is never too early to begin researching different career fields and their requirements. Franklinton High School is proud of the diverse selection of vocational classes we offer to prepare our students for their future vocations and careers. Additionally the counselors in the guidance department work with students, individually and in small groups, to identify their goals and develop plans for reaching them. Starting in the 9th grade and continuing until graduation, their respective counselors annually discuss career possibilites and the steps they need to take them to reach them. Once again the internet is a great place to start the research process. Many sources are available to help research careers. These include libraries, career information guides,the internet, school counselors, career development coordinators, career conferences, and many other resources. It provides the latest information needed for effective training, education, counseling, and employment of workers.
