Today, while standing in an undisclosed area (its not the bathroom), I unexpectedly recieved a hug. What's up with that? I seriously was speechless and shocked. Nothing was said and I went about my buisiness. (It wasn't a stranger either) It's really stupid of me to even make a big, medium, or small deal about it too. But I always seem to try to find the hidden meaning in things when all I got to do is look at the big picture. So what I'm saying is that it was nothing and thats it. I just needed to say it to actualy mean it. Ummm... Yeah... Ok... Sure... Why not... If it makes you feel better about yourslef... My b-day is in 4 days! I expect the usual birth day card with $100 inside from my mom, 2 shirts and a pair of pants from my dad, nothing from my brothers but an ass kicking, and I always get surprised by my sister. She is the wild card. But this time, my sister told me my present kinda early. She is getting me a new cell phone. Then theres friends and relatives. From my families close friends, I will get a either a watch, a gift card from the warehouse, or a sweater. Relatives... I hardley get any thing from them. I have about 6 other cousins and my older brother who have their b-days in the same week. We were all born with in a 5 day period. All the b-day phone calls start on the 4th and end the 9th. We all just call each other on like the 6th or 7th, cuz we dont really remember who's b-day is when, and just say happy birth day. From friends, I never really got anything except from 3 friends that I've known all my life. And it's only because my b-day always lands on spring break. Except for this year. Every spring break my friends would be out on vacation or something, so I never had a big party. Just small "shindigs". Little get togethers. Last year, my b-day consisted of a movie from blockbuster, some putt-putt golf, and acouple of presents. Thats how I like it though. Nice and small. (That sounds really perverted!!!!) I dont really care much for presents either. Unless it's somthing I really want. Like when I wanted my acoustic guitar for x-mas. Thats the only thing I wanted. This year, I just want to go hang with some friends. I need one of them "word of the day" calenders!!! I got a call from the United States Navy acouple days ago. The offerd me some info on the Navy and all that stuff. The recruiter told me he was gonna call back in June to see if I was interested in enlisting durring the summer. I'm actually considering it. You have to be 17 to enlist and come sunday, I'll be 17. I've been giving it alot of thought and it does offer alot. If go there, I'll get to travel alot, which is on my things to do list, I'll get a good education and college will be paid for, it will give me something to do, something positive career wise, while I figure out what I want to do, and I'll finally get to be trained as a sniper, another thing on my things to do list!!! Although I already posses the mad skill required to be a sniper, I'll legally be able to shoot people!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!! I got acouple of months before I make my desicion. As usual, I'll do my research on this, talk to people, make some calls. But so far I have nothing els planned, this is looking to be my #1 plan for the future. Oh, yeah... Why did every one at school make fun of me when I said I got the call??? Is not possible for me to actually do something violent like fire a gun??? Or is it just the thought of me doing all that army stuff??? I kinda was offended that every one was laughing. I know I'm not the most athletic person in the world, but you would be surprised at the things I can do. I've even surprised my self before with the guitar. I didnt think I was gonna be as good as I am now. What's up with people asking me about my Kurt Cobain book????? Can't a guy read a book by some guy that killed himself??? I don't read books very often and yes, I have a very interesting choice of books. But... I dont know what I'm trying to say. Just stop asking about it. I'm just curious that's all. Speaking about books. In the past 3 years, I would say, I have read something like 4 books. I never read the assigned books we have in class. I read (in this exact order) Cyber Zone, which deals with ghost, the internet, and highschool students. There's also Tripmaster's Monkey. That book I picked because of the name. I even made my AOL screen name TrpmstrsMnky. That book is about a chinese immigrant in the '60s, I think. He's an author who wants to write a book and become a legend. He faces abunch of discrimination and stuff like that. Its a good book. The 3rd book is a "graphic novel". It's Ultimate Spider-Man. Every one knows what the Spider-Man story is. Journals by Kurt Cobain is my 4th book. I'm not done with it but I know I will be some time soon cuz I cant put it down. That's about it. Nothing els to say for now. Good night everybody!!!!!!!!! |
