Volunteer Dinner September 2001 |

|
18 Friends Of Columbia Park attended the Thank You Volunteer dinner given in their honor by Portland City Parks Bureau.� The volunteers from parks all over the city of Portland were entertained and dined as a thank you for all their hard work throughout the year.�
Director Charles Jordon spoke eloquently about the value of volunteers and a brief moment of silence and candle vigil was held to remember the victims of the World Trade Center, Pentagon and Pennsylvania Hijackings. �
Mount Tabor Park was the hosting site and specifically the Crater amphitheatre.�
Music was provided by Sam Kama and dance by Ohana with the entire evening having a Hawaiian theme. |
