Ford City Northern Railway
Locomotive Roster and Paint schemes
FCN RAIL (1989-1991)

The FCN's first scheme was the Black and Blue FCN RAIL.  Testors Black from spray can was used for the main body.  Light Blue Testor's was applied by brush to the body ends.  The White Helvetica lettering  were dry-transfers applied one-letter-at-a-time.   Lt. Blue was also used for the ends of the handrails.  The roster at the time consisted of (4) B25-7s, (1) U18B; (1) U23B and (1) U30B.  The Atlas U25B chassis was used for powering most of these units.
FCN (1991-1993)
The second scheme was a variation of the first with the shortening of the name on the long hood.  Frame dashes were added and the handrail ends were painted White.
FCN (1993-2001)
The third scheme ushered in new colors and a new logo and lettering.  Southern Pacific Dark Lark Gray became the main body color. With Medium Blue decals applied at each end as diaginal stripes and centered down the length of the long hood as the middle of the new logo.  White lettering from Manlick Decals were placed above and below this blue stripe.  "FCN" was spelled-out above the stripe and "Ford City Northern" spelled-out below.   Yellow decal from a CN decal set was used a the frame stripe.   The ends of the loco's handrails were painted Polly Scale White.     Loco roster now included 2 new units.  Kato Dash 9 shells that when-shortened allowed for the manufacture of a FCN creation:  B32-9Ws.  The U-boats were mostly scraped at this time (April 2000).   Leaving only (1) U18B, (3) B25-7s and the (2) B32-9Ws.

The Roster at this time consists of:
