RULES & REQUIREMENTS
HOUR REQUIREMENTS
- 3 total hours per semester:
- Including 1 "teacher" hour
- 2 service hours (after your teacher hour) cannot be taken from NEHS activities. For example, if you were at the car wash for 2 hours, those 2 hours cannot go to your 3 hours. The 2 non-teacher hours must be obtained elsewhere, like by helping another teacher or through community service.
- Prior to each activity, NEHS officers will let you know if the activity may be used for hours
- Participation in activities that are deemed mandatory
ATTENDANCE
- 2 unexcused absences are allowed per year
- If you cannot make a meeting, notify Mrs. Wales or an officer. A provided note is encouraged.
