Monthly Meetings
* Our business meeting are held the first Friday of each month in a local church in Falls Church. At our meetings we discuss club business and have informative speakers. Some of our past speakers have included:
- certified financial planner
- nursing expert
- infant massage instructor
- child psychologist
- nutritionist
- self-employed moms
Visitors are welcome at our meetings, and children are always welcome. Please contact the Membership Vice President at [email protected] for more information.
Monthly Activities
We have a wide variety of activites that are planned each month for children of all ages. Some examples of these activites are:
- park days at playgrounds throughout northern Virginia
- zoo days at the National Zoo
- museum days at the Smithsonian
- tot time at local rec centers
- free "demo" classes with local music, art and gym instructors
- craft days
- Moms Night Out
Playgroups
We have several active playgroups that are formed based on the age of your child. Most playgroups meet weekly, and new playgroups are forming as the need arises. Playgroups not only meet at members' homes, but also parks and other agreed upon locations. Playgroups also can choose to attend scheduled MOMS Club activities.
Community Service
The MOMS Club is dedicated to helping mothers - not only those who are members of our club. We have a sunshine program that provides meals and other types of support for club memebrs in need, but we also do several community service based activites throughout the year.
Other Activities
We have a host of other member driven activities that you are welome to join in on. We are always open to new ideas, so feel free to make suggestions!
