Building a Railing -- Part Three

Two water leaves are joined to a twisted taper to form a corn-like motif. A diagonal line through the two leaves will be vertical once the railing is installed on the stairs.

The piece is placed in the railing, now upright on the table to better accommodate the leaves. It can be seen that the center of the corn cob is parallel with the top and bottom rails while the leaves hold the same angle as other vertical pieces
