| 1- Reading activity on page 28/29 (student�s book) Exercise 3 only You have to read the text on page 28 and insert the sentences on page 29 (exercise 3) in the right gaps. Remember that there is an extra sentence - the distractor -, that should be left out. |

| 3- Also do exercise 2 page 32 (student�s book) and exercise 4 page 33 You have to read the 8 short texts on page 32 exercise 2 (Models), then decide if the texts are formal, semi-formal or informal. Then, in exercise 4a we have to choose the informal phrases and expressions to complete the informal reply letter and in 4b we have to choose the formal phrases and expressions to complete the formal letter. |

| 1- You should have a look at the FCE Handbook I gave you last class. Try to do the exercises that you are going to have in the Mock Test at least. If you want to have an idea of what might be in your test in terms of contents, have a look at the yellow pages at the back of your Student�s Book. |
| 2- The letter I asked you to write as the 2nd Written Assignment. More details on page 33 (student�s book). |
| 3- Don� forget to check out the www.tipsforbiz.com page, it�s a good way of developing your Business vocab for free!!! |
| 4- You could also do the Exam Practice on page 40/41 (student�s book). Basically you just have to fill the gaps of the text on page 40 with a suitable word(one word only). If you have difficulties, try using the "cues" on page 41. |

In 1B you have to complete with the right preposition and in exercise 2 you have to use the word given (exactly as it is) to complete the sentence without changing the meaning of the sentence.
