Welcome to the Frederick County Performing Arts Company (FCPAC).
We are a non-profit youth organization located in Frederick, Maryland offering
complete performing arts opportunities to children of all ages.

Our Mission
The Frederick County Performing Arts Company (FCPAC) wishes to offer
quality arts education to ALL of our children. FCPAC is committed to
providing students the opportunity to learn the art of theatrical
expression and build skills through weekly classes, performance
opportunities and main stage productions. This is all accomplished
in a child-oriented atmosphere.

Our Organization
FCPAC was founded in 1997 as the Frederick County Children's Theater
Company. This group started as a class offered by the Frederick County
Parks and Recreation Department under the direction of Teri Walker. It
evolved as a non-profit youth company at the request of students and their
parents wishing to provide main stage productions for children. In order
to promote opportunities for a wider range of students and their interests, the
company reorganized into the Frederick County Performing Arts Company in the
fall of 2001. It has quickly grown from 16 members meeting once a week to
almost 200 students in classes offered 6 days a week. FCPAC offers not
only theater arts courses, but also performing arts courses for the complete
performer.
Prior season productions have included: Oklahoma!; Bye, Bye Birdie!; The
Wizard of Oz; Aladdin; Hello Dolly!; and The King and I. FCPAC
also performs countless "road show" performances and musical reviews
in the Frederick community.
