Q How does it work?
A when you hit the button or switch, your engines ignition is cut out,this then allows the air fuel mix to be sucked through the head and blown out through your exhaust, at the same time a spark control box is sending a constant pulse of power to one or two ign coils that are connected to spark plugs mounted in the tailpipe.
Q Why does my car backfire when i try to shoot flames?
A Makesure your pipes are warm, this is necessary in order to allow the fuel to vapourize in the exhaust system before it reaches the plugs.
make sure there are no leaks in your exhuast system.
Q My flames are small blue jet like, why?
A You are probably holding your pedal down, give it some good pumps while your finger is on the button or switch is on, also smaller tailpipes seem to do this more than larger ones.
Q Can you use them while the car is moving?
A Yes but make sure you are going fast enough for the engine to not die or put out of gear and rev it. You can get longer flames when the car is driving but at high speeds (around +130 km/h or +80 m/ph depending on gearing) it may backfire.
QI am about to order a kit and want to get my car ready by mounting the plugs today, were do i put em?
A 6"-12" from the tip of the tailpipe, keep in mind that you will need to remove them sometimes for cleaning but try to make them not stand out so much from the back of the car also if you are screwing the plugs straight into the pipe get the smallest diameter possible so if you have any problems and strip the thread you can go bigger, if this happens first try tapping the hole in with a ball pein hammer.
Qcan I use them on a unleaded motor?
A If you have a catalytic convertor it will burn all the fuel before it reaches the plugs and you wont get flames. It is possible, but it requires further modification and can be dangerous if not set up properly, This type of set up is simular to the cars in Fast and the Furious
