| After 21 hours of shooting and not a minute of sleep we were devestated to find that we had needed the VCR remote wich was left in Sydney before we could dub the movie onto a VHS cassette wich was reguired to comply with the shootout rules. We did get access to a VCD recorder but the disc was not accepted so the movie never made it to the judges. The shootout is a 24 hour film festival that is held each year in Newcastle . In the shootout you are given less than 24 hours to create a short film no longer than seven minutes long, it must also contain five of fifteen provided locations that are anounced at the begining of the 24 hours with one of the locations in the first scene and all editing must be done in camera with all scenes shot in sequence.. |
