Our mission at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Cleveland, is to seek God’s will through:

• Faithful, meaningful prayer;
• Relevant, real-life education;
• Fulfilling, personal worship;
• Open, relaxing fellowship;
• Unconditional, selfless love;
• Willing, humble service.

1. We will educate ourselves about prayer and its importance in our lives through a special study within six months.
2. We will develop and implement ideas for Bible studies in an attempt to explore different topics and times of interest to the congregation in spring 2007.
3. We will have a congregation wide study of blended worship in the summer of 2006.
4. We will develop and implement new approaches to times of fellowship (e.g. movie nights) three times a year.
5. We will offer a community outreach program (e.g. parents’ night out, spaghetti dinner for low-income people) in spring 2007.
6. We will redevelop our property with a new sign, accessible parking, and handicap-accessible entrances and restrooms by fall 2008.
7. We will develop a van pickup service for members of the community who lack the means or ability to drive to worship services and other events by fall 2007.
8. We will plan an ecumenical service with other area churches that will become a regular event by summer 2007.
