After AP Test material wil be announced
Exams : Approximately one exam per unit. Besides the AP test in May, there will be a final a week before the AP test. The tests will all be worth 100 points.
Homework: Homework will be given nightly and due the next day. It will turned in about 1/2 the time, on a random basis. HW can be turned in one day late for 1/2 credit (full cridit if an excused absense.) All homework will be kept in a notebook (portfolio) and turned in at the end of the semester. The portfolio will be worth 100 points.
Projects & Labs: you will be working on at least one project a semester and about 5 labs. The projects and labs are hand-on applications of the the material you are learning in class.
Rocket Project - Your first project will be the rocket project which occur Wed., Oct. 27th..
Required Items - You will need a graphing calculator for this course and calculus and I am recommending the TI-89. The TI-86 ot TI-83 will due if that is what you have. already.
