Safa Representative in Regional Competition: Asian Cup-Winners' Cup

Ansar and Safa, both 1998-1999 league champions and runners-up, are to carry the country's flag in the forthcoming main Asian clubs competitions, 2000-2001 Asian Club Championship and Asian Cup-Winners' Cup. On the other hand, the Lebanese Federation (LFA) named Shabab Sahel, fresh winners of the 1999-2000 Lebanese National Cup, to represent Lebanon in the 2001-2002 Asian Cup-Winners' Cup Competition, and in the upcoming Arab Cup-Winners' Cup Competition. |
