Jef's Literary Gatherings

This page is my final project for VHS. It is a gathering of many of my writings some of witch were created for this course and some that are things I have written in years past. Hope you enjoy and feel free to give me some feedback.

First comes me the writer. You wanna know more about who I am to get an understanding to what I am writing about here you go.

I am 16 years old and a junior in High School. I enjoy writing most of the time and love making web pages of all sorts. I especially enjoy writing assignments that that allow you to use your imagination and don't have very strict guidelines. The more freedom I have when putting an assignment together the more I like doing them and I feel come out better. Writing about life experiences I also like to do but again I don't like to be told write about what you did last Monday after school. I would rather an assignment writing about something interesting that I've done after school. My VHS class that has taught me a lot about my writing and myself. It has showed me where my strengths are and helped me improve on my weaknesses. The class has also taught me a great deal about writing on the web and how you must write differently in order for your point to get across. I have also learned how to make web pages and designing the perfect page for that task. Over all I would say the class was a great learning experience and imp sure glad I was given to opportunity to take it. I hope that you enjoy reading these writings as much as I enjoyed writing them.

Now here come some of my favorite Writings done by me.
I Am ~ This is a poem I wrote reflecting on myself. It goes with a format that some of you might be familiar with. This is a semi-dark look at a teenage boys life and what it can come to.
Short Story ~ This is a short story I wrote for a previous assignment 5.2 I believe. It is a short story I wrote about my very best friend Derek. It's a hard hitting truth about friendship and life. (Very Sad)
The Fire ~ This is a paragraph form story told from two points of view. First told from a mouse's point of view it describes a mouse running away from a forest fire. Then from the fires point of view.
