A couple of quick notes before we get to the results:
-I've had several people contact me saying that they are not getting the emails. In all but one case so far it has wound up being because their email service is blocking out my emails as SPAM. Make sure that you mark my email address as 'not spam' or 'allowable', or what every your email service refers to it as, and you should be in good shape. If you also look at the blog section of the site, all of the bulk emails that are sent out to the group are posted on there, if you're not sure if you are getting all the emails, you can always check there.
-I've also had several people say that the website has last year's information on it. This is because you are going to the wrong site. I had to change the website this year because of problems I was having with tripod. The new site is
http://www.geocities.com/fbsuicide. I will try to modify the tripod site to link directly there if I get a chance to make sure we avoid any confusion.
-Someone pointed out to me that the website this past week stated the deadline for picks is 12pm on Saturday. This is a mistake, and I have changed it so that the website now states the correct deadline, which of course is 6 am EST Sunday morning (if taking a Sunday or Monday game). Any other questions regarding deadlines, or rules, please ask me. It is important that everyone is clear on this given the fact that there is NO DEFAULT pick this year.
Alright, so enough of the boring administrative stuff...we had an exciting first week of the NFL season. My Jets looked like total crap, but in general some really great games. We wind up losing 80 this week thanks in mostly to Philly and Jacksonville's inability to squeek out a win. So, the total is down to 435 as we head into week 2. The results are posted below, and the website has been updated.
