Cell Salts and Homeopathy
Learning about cell salts is the easiest way to introduce yourself to homeopathics for your use in improving your health. I personally have benefited greatly from their use. Below is the list of the 12 cell salts and a bit about their use. I have included a Google search button for more information. Also besides the cell salts, I have found Arsenicum Album and Carbo Vegetabilis very helpful for my food allergy reactions.
CALC FLUOR (Calcium Fluoride) - Helps maintain tissue elasticity. It has helped me rid of a painful heel problem I had. It is found in the enamel of teeth and bone surfaces. The bottle reads: Headcold with thick, greenish discharge, hemmorhoids, or chapped skin.
CALC PHOS (Calcium Phosphate) - Helps digestion and assimilation. Bottle reads: Supports definition and knitting of bones; sore throat and painful swallowing.
CALC SULPH ( Calcium Sulphate) - It is beneficial for slow wound healing. Bottle reads: Head cold with yellow discharge and post-nasal drip.
FERRUM PHOS (Phosphate of Iron) - For use whenever there are ailments arising from disturbed circulation. Beneficial during the first stage of acute diseases. Iron assists in maintaining normal body resistance to disease. Bottle reads: Fevers and first stage of inflammations.
KALI MUR (Potassium Chloride) - May assist with the temporary relief of minor respiratory disorders. It is beneficial for the lymphatic glands. Bottle reads: Acute inflammation and runny nose with white discharge
KALI PHOS (Potassium Phosphate) - Is a useful nerve tonic. It is also helpful for emotional irritability, depression, and children�s tantrums. Bottle reads: Stress or nervousness due to overwork or anxiety.
KALI SULPH (Potassium Sulphate) - It works in conjuction with Phosphate of Iron, as an oxygen carrier. Bottle reads: Ratting cough with watery mucous.
MAG PHOS (Magnesium Phosphate) - Another mineral element of bones, teeth, brain, nerves, blood and muscle cells. It is the chief remedy for complaints of a spasmodic nature. Beneficial in many cases of exhaustion due to emotional upset. Bottle reads: Muscle cramps and pains relieved by warmth.
NAT MUR (Sodium Chloride) - Considered the "Water Salt", it helps control the degree of moisture in the tissues. It also helps digestive distrubances arising from too little acid. Bottle reads: Headache; water retention in women.
NAT PHOS (Sodium Phosphate) - Bottle reads: Hyperacidity and dyspepsia which may be accompanied by flatulence.
NAT SULPH (Sodium Sulphate) - It helps balance the amount of water in the tissues. Bottle reads: Nausea and vomitting.
SILICA (Silicon Oxide) - It promotes suppuration and the discharge of wastes. Bottle reads: Skin eruptions. brittle hair and nails.
