Lion Jeff Krone
Lion Jeff has been a member of the Frostburg Lions Club since 1981.
He served two consecutive years as President (1990-91 & 1991-92) He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Club for many years.
Lion Jeff's love of sports is evident in his leading the club to become one of the sponsors of the Annual High School All-Star Basketball Tournament (Maryland vs. West Virginia). The tournament is now run solely by Frostburg Lions Club, and this event has become on of the Clubs best fund raisers, and in 2009 will celebrate its 29th anniversary.
Lion Jeff was instrumental in developing the High School Football Classic (Maryland Vs. West Virginia). He further worked on the festival at the Brandenburg Center, Chicken Barbeques, Broom Sales, Country Music Extravaganzas, and many more important civic and fund raising projects.
He was also Chairman of the 50th Anniversary Celebration in 1995.
Lion Jeff has had long distinguished career with the Frostburg Lions Club, continuing to support the Club each year with his efforts to continue the Annual High School All-Star Basketball Tournament
