They have moved to Beale AFB in California were Rebecca, a 2nd Lt., is assigned as a personal officer and Nathan is finishing his undergraduate degree in English. Brian has just finished his freshman year at Ohio State University Agricultural and Technical Institute in Wooster. He is pursuing a degree in Landscape Contracting and Construction.

In the Fall of 1999 I moved from Dallas, Texas back to Atlanta, Georgia. We bought a new home in December 1999 in Alpharetta, Georgia and hope to be here a long time. I'm getting to old to move around and have become a homebody. If you’re ever in the Atlanta area look me up and let's do dinner!

Craft, Mark

Got married to a wonderful woman and had an incredibly cool little son.

Ernewein-Whitney, Melinda

Most exciting thing I (we) have done since our last reunion (which I did not attend) is travel!  My work sends me throughout the US.  Ben and I took a Hawaiian Cruise (marvelous), which we highly recommend.  Minor notes:  planning retirement, enjoying the blessings and wishing each classmate and family god's love and care.  See you 7/26/03!

Filbey-Donaldson, Barbara

My husband and children make my life fun and full of adventure. I am also working on a Master's of Science in Education.

Foley-Gehring, Donna

By far, the most exciting thing we have done since our 20th reunion is welcome the birth of our son, Andrew, born just last spring, April 30, 2002!  Yikes!  We're looking forward to early Fall when we will welcome baby number 2, a baby brother or sister for Andrew!  Now top that 25 years after graduation!  We have surely been blessed!

Frazee, Donald

Well I missed the 20th, but attended the August picnic party about a month later and was able to see some old friends. Looking forward to seeing everyone for the 25th. P.S.: I will try to bring some great California weather with me too!!!

Gearhart-Fitzpatrick, Barbara

Enjoying 2 new Grandchildren (Proud Grandma of soon to be 4), Den Mother of a Cub Scout Troop, Participate in my children and grandchildren's Baseball, Softball, T-ball, Scouts, and School and Church Activities.

Exciting, hmmm... I can't say that anything has been particularly exciting. We did move to a new, much larger home. As for exciting - I guess the experience of raising two children, working outside the home in a demanding job, being an Assistant Cubmaster for Cub Scouts, assisting with Brownie Girl Scouts, being room mother, making time for my husband - ;-) Welcome to my glamorous life!!!

Goodson, Jeffrey

I was recently promoted to safety chairman, over-seeing 6 major airports on the Atlantic Coast.  4000 employees strong.  Representing the transport workers union.

Grody, Warren

Probably the most exciting thing I've done the last five years has been my work with the Greater Columbus Habitat for Humanity.  I have also changed the focus of my practice to education.

Hasinger-May, Sharon

We are now living in, and still working on, the house that we built totally on our own with no subcontractors at all! It's been an amazing family project! I'm having fun furnishing and decorating it too! Of course, we are now "empty nesters" - Ryan is 21 and will be a senior/grad student at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland studying electrical engineering. Kyle is 19 and will be a sophomore architect major at Kent State University. Both boys are on full academic scholarships so we are very proud! I still work part time as a school secretary and my husband Jim, who retired from NASA a few years ago, is busy working on the house and pursuing his doctoral degree in structural engineering.

Higgins-Payne, Darcy

It looks as though I will have to set my sights on the 30th reunion!  I attended my husband's 30th class reunion two years ago so I know he will be recruited to mine.  It takes a little more planning to attend mine than his!  Our children are the joy of our lives, and I am very happy in my role as their mother.  God has truly blessed us, and we know each day is a gift from his hand.  I wish you all the best and I do hope to see you in 2008!

Hiott-Gratton, Susan

I spent three years in the US ARMY, where I met my now ex husband. We married first in Denmark, then again in Germany. I have experienced both homelessness (due to my divorce) and poverty, neither of which I liked. I was scared to be in that position, and I am always scared I will be there again, although I hope I never am. I lost custody of my son to my husband, whom I have never quite gotten over, though I try to live with the pain, and I think I'm doing a lot better. I miss Fairborn so much. It's my heart. I grew up there and I never wanted to leave. My dream was to be a writer, buy the house I grew up in, write there, and die there. But things never turn out the way we would like them to. No, I'm not a writer, but I hope to be someday; that's a dream I will never give up. I am looking forward to seeing you all at the reunion. I had few friends in school, but that doesn't bother me anymore. I'll still be glad to see everyone, and just enjoy being in Fairborn again. To Mary Coyne and Barb Gearhart----I'm sorry I can't make it on Friday. I really wanted to see you guys again, but I just can't take a penalty at my place of work. (I have no sick time left) I'll be attending the Saturday party with my mom and my son. I sure wish you could make it then. And I LYLASA! See you all there!

Hutchinson, David

Can only come for Friday night party.

Morgan, Mike

Survived being a father to two teenagers, and celebrating our 22-wedding anniversary.

Murray-Burns, Margaret

Teaching sex ed (pregnancy prevention) to 7th and 8th graders in what is now Baker Junior High was fun - but the best part was looking across the hall and seeing that Mr. Creps still looks just the same!

Nine-Gaber, Lexi

My husband is one of the firefighters putting the flag on the Pentagon just after 9/11. I'm sure you have all seen this photo or video. We have been to some exciting events honoring firefighters since then.

Noble-Short, Linda

Does anyone feel old?  It will be great to see everyone, really looking forwarded to it.  The previous reunions have been a blast.  See ya all soon.

Norris, Paul

I joined the AF shortly out of high school, did my 4 years, got out and went to college out west, got married in 1986, and stayed out west. Eventually we settled in Spokane, Washington where we lived for 14 years and I worked at Fairchild AFB. We really liked it there, but an opportunity came up to move to Germany for 3 years. We took it, have been here about a year and a half and really enjoy it. Europe is a blast and I wouldn't mind hanging out here for a long time. My daughters however, don't want to graduate from high school on a military base, so I suspect we'll head back to Washington after the 3 years are up. We call Spokane our home town and I've lived out west so long I don't see myself moving back east again. I don't get back to Ohio much and I haven't made a reunion yet, but I'd definitely try for 30 a year reunion.

Parry, John

First I hope that all my Baker high school classmates are well, the last 5 years has definitely been interesting.  I got divorced in 1999, and things have been pretty good, my son Mike lives with me and he just turned 18 this year, and I have been with a wonderful gal named Marie for the last 3 years, we are going to get married in November.  Marie made a liar out of me and I have been told by my buddies that I will have to give up my position as President of the I'M NEVER GETTING MARRIED AGAIN CLUB.  I am still with the Fire Department in Huber Heights, I have 22 years on the job and was promoted to Lieutenant a few years back, I am the station officer over 7 of the funniest and finest human beings the Good Lord ever put on this earth.  I work with all these young guys, and they keep me young, although my gray hair might say different.  I also teach for Sinclair Community College, I am fulltime faculty in the Paramedic Education Department, and I am a Senior Instructor at the Fire Academy.  I'll bet some of my old teachers would shake their heads if they knew that I was a teacher.  Professionally the nicest thing to happen to me was this year I was named the Greater Miami Valley firefighter of the year.  2 fulltime jobs keep me busy, but my life is great.  I truly hope that the rest of you are doing well and I'm looking forward to hearing about you and your families at the reunion.

Platt-Piekutowski, Donna

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary by taking a two-week trip to Spain. I had never been out of the country so was quite an experience. We traveled along the coast from the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic Ocean. The weather was great and I can't wait to go back. And yes, they do go topless!

Simmons, Gregory

We usually ski in the Rockies 3 or 4 times a year.  Would love to ski with classmates.  I haven't made a reunion yet due to scheduling conflicts, but would love to attend 30th.

Smith-Edgar, Nancy

Riding on the back of our Harley is the most exciting thing I have done since white water rafting and taking the helicopter ride into the Grand Canyon. Daily excitement includes getting up every morning at 5am to pump iron at World Gym. More mature excitement has been gaining the wisdom and experience that comes with being 40 something. It's now time to work less and enjoy more. Raising children that become teenagers has been an interesting challenge. Being a spectator rather than a participant at sporting events is not nearly as exciting. But all in all, life has gotten better since the 20th Reunion.

Smith-Fording, Angie

I married Jerry Fording, a 1977 graduate of Park Hills, in May 1979.  We just celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary this year.  We have two children, Aimee/22 and Jeremy/21; one son-in-law, Jamee/24; one granddaughter, Hailee 2 1/2; two horses; two dogs; and many barn cats.  I graduated from college with dual degrees in Accounting/Business Management.  I am currently working as the Assistant Controller for the Ohio Masonic Home in Springfield.  I am also a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for the State of Ohio.  I have worked as an Administrator over the last 10 years until two years ago when I went back to work in Accounting.

Stinson, Mark

Visited Graceland on our 20th wedding anniversary. The King was there and we talked to him, my wife was in heaven...she is a big fan. Me and the King went for a couple of burgers at the local hamburger shop. It was heaven for me. My wife was happy, I was happy, the King was happy......we lived happily ever after.

Stultz-Russell, Lisa

Nothing earth shattering.  Just anxious to see everyone again.

White-Taylor, Charlotte

Fulfilling my lifelong dream of becoming a nurse (I have the ultimate dream job!!), getting my child out of college and getting her married (I feel sorry for those of you who have more than one daughter!!!)

Winn, Terry

I guess the most exciting has been work. Covering events like Chechnya, Indonesian riots, Bosnia, Somalia, Rwanda, Philippine hostages, etc. Still based in Luxembourg, which I like, but traveling a lot.
